Update story:Mother Nature Catches her Breath

In Late May, Governor Ron Desantis started to open the state of Florida for business. This meant that families were now allowed to come out and start normal activities, we were getting back to normal. The fears that a lot of scientists are fearing is are we going to go back to not taking care of our environment. The first weekend in Jacksonville, Florida seemed to answer that question. The beaches were littered all about the first week. A local beach patrol officer said " After the first weekend, there was all kinds of garbage. It took hours to clean it. " When asked if he thought we could protect the environment to what it was during the pandemic? He said "It's not impossible, by using solar power, less emissions, cleaning up after ourselves, and simply recycling. We can keep our Mother Earth the way it was during the Pandemic.
